1. Information We Collect

TypingWriter is developed and operated by Synosky Technologies. Depending on the features you use and the version installed, the application or its services may process the following information.

License and activation information

If you use a licensed or activation-restricted version, we may process:

  • License key and activation status.
  • A device identifier used to manage activations, if implemented.
  • License validity and activation timestamps.
  • Application version and technical details required to validate a license.

This information is used to activate the application, enforce applicable device limits, prevent unauthorized activation, and provide technical support.

Technical and support information

When the app communicates with our servers, technical information such as request timestamps, connection details, application version, and server logs may be processed for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability. If you contact support, we may process the contact details and information you choose to provide.

2. Typing Lessons and Practice Data

TypingWriter provides typing lessons, practice exercises, and typing tests. Typing text, test scores, accuracy, and progress are handled according to the features implemented in the version you use.

Publisher: confirm whether practice text, scores, and progress stay on the device or are sent to a server.

We do not use typing practice content for advertising. If a feature transmits practice data to a server, this policy must clearly describe that processing before release.

3. How We Use Information

Where applicable, information may be used to:

  • Provide lessons, typing tests, and app functionality.
  • Activate and validate software licenses.
  • Manage permitted device activations and prevent misuse.
  • Maintain security and diagnose technical errors.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Internet Access and Third-Party Services

TypingWriter may connect to Synosky Technologies' servers for license activation, license verification, or other online features.

Publisher: list any integrated analytics, crash reporting, advertising, payment, or other third-party SDKs and provide links to their privacy policies. If none are used, verify that this statement is accurate.

Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Information may be stored locally on your device or on our servers, depending on the feature. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain license records, handle support requests, protect our services, or comply with legal obligations.

Server records may be retained for security, troubleshooting, and licensing purposes.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No electronic storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Sharing

Information may be disclosed to service providers supporting hosting, licensing, security, or technical operations where necessary; when required by applicable law or a valid legal request; or to protect the security, rights, and lawful operation of TypingWriter and Synosky Technologies.

We do not sell personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

TypingWriter may be used by students and other learners. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information beyond what is necessary for the application's disclosed functionality. If the app is directed to children or is made available to children under applicable child-privacy requirements, additional safeguards and consent requirements may apply.

Parents or guardians may contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately.

Depending on applicable law and the information involved, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your use of TypingWriter. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate security, licensing, or legal purposes.

10. App Permissions

TypingWriter should request permissions only where needed for implemented functionality. The permissions in the published Android app should be reviewed against its manifest and accurately disclosed in the Google Play listing where required.
